8th June 2009
Last month STRUMIS LTD attended and exhibited at the Kaltenbach International Partners in Steel event, held at Kaltenbach’s headquarters close to Lörrach, southern Germany.
Kaltenbach in conjunction with their market leading partners are continuing to pioneer the most cost-efficient, automated technology for the steel industry. IPS 2009 provided an ideal forum for industry leaders to remain ahead and showcase the very best and latest technology for efficient steel processing, whether for structural steel or general steel stockholding.
The IPS has also established itself as the key event in the calendar for meeting industry peers and other steel experts to exchange views in a relaxed atmosphere with likeminded steelwork professionals.
This prestigious week long event is held biannually and brings together steelwork fabricators from around the world to share and view the latest production processing technology. STRUMIS LTD was this year delighted to preview the very latest production feedback technology within its STRUMIS .NET management and fabrication system. This work was conducted in parallel with Kaltenbach and enables fabricators to receive precise timings and automatic feedback directly from the CNC equipment into the STRUMIS .NET system. This direct feedback can populate various parts of the system to provide for example improved estimating accuracy, whilst delivering automated tracking through the workshop of all parts via individual CNC data.
STRUMIS LTD was pleased to have this opportunity to meet some of the many existing STRUMIS users and exchange views with other steel experts. During this overwhelmingly success event, STRUMIS LTD generated significant interest with many companies excited about the solution benefits of Fabrication Information Modeling to maximize productivity benefits.
STRUMIS LTD is a leading software provider of structural supply chain solutions for Steel Building Structures in the Architectural, Engineering and Construction (AEC) market, and Plant Structures in the Process and Power markets. With Fabrication Information Modeling (FIM), a practical and immediately available implementation of the Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodology, at the heart of STRUMIS LTD’s work-based and integrated solution platform, users are enabled to efficiently manage the engineering, fabrication and supply chain associated with the delivery of steelwork projects.
