STRUMIS .NET V7.2 Released

StruM.I.S .NET V7.2 represents a significant advance in the production control and fabrication management of structural steelwork projects. With substantial new features this latest global release delivers further productivity and efficiency advantages from estimating, through purchasing, stock management, contracts management, fabrication routing and production control to erection.
STRUMIS .NET V7.2 delivers added functionality in the form of a new Quantity Surveying and Unit Pricing module, enabling steelwork fabricators to group materials into categories and analyse physical properties or pricing factors. This increased flexibility is also displayed in new Sales Order Processing functionality, such that orders and invoices may be raised against materials delivered or aligned with specific contract milestones. To enable Steelwork Fabricators of all sizes to benefit from STRUMIS .NET V7.2, STRUMIS LTD has also split the system into three versions - appropriate to the activities and requirements of varying sized organizations.
STRUMIS .NET V7.2 also benefits from an enhanced Document Control module that allows steelwork fabricators and drawing offices alike to control and manage fabrication and general arrangement drawings as well as MS Office documents such as Word and Excel etc. In fact any project related documentation can be stored within the system and any relevant transmittals and associated revision/amendments can be produced and recorded. A significant new feature is the ability to view previous document versions thereby enabling a full audit trail and delivering complete document traceability.
With new user customizable fields it is far easier to tailor the STRUMIS .NET system to your unique requirements, enabling storage and retrieval of data to your specific needs. This greater system flexibility is also reflected in enhancements to the STRUMIS .NET Estimating and Production modules to incorporate the dimension of time. It is now possible to include labour time estimates and production times for improved labor reporting.
Mark progress tracking has been improved with instant detailed production status information available throughout the system. Item and document status also benefits from this immediate historic data access including summarized transactions.
