Bubear & Jones Ltd, a well-established UK-based steel fabrication company with roots dating back to 1956, turned to STRUMIS to modernize their operations and prepare for continued expansion. Founded in Headley Forge, Surrey, Bubear & Jones started as a community-centered operation offering blacksmithing, farriery, and general steel fabrication. Today, they’ve evolved into a modern steel construction company, now operating out of a purpose-built facility near Gatwick Airport-ready to take on larger, more complex projects with speed and precision.
With over 60 years of experience, Bubear & Jones has mastered the steel building supply chain-from initial concept and CAD design, to fabrication and final installation. To keep this level of service running smoothly and efficiently, they needed a management information system that could handle it all.

And they’re not stopping there. Next up is bar code scanning using PDAs to streamline logistics and delivery tracking.
